Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated on July 1, 2026. This page is maintained by Carto Catral SL to describe what is and isn't allowed on the platform.

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to everyone who uses Carto Catral. It exists to protect our customers, their recipients, and the shared infrastructure the platform runs on.

Prohibited content

You may not use Carto Catral to store, send, or process content that is illegal, infringes intellectual‑property rights, sexualizes minors, promotes violence, or facilitates fraud, phishing, or malware distribution.

Messaging & anti‑spam

You must have a lawful basis to contact every recipient, honor unsubscribe requests promptly, and never send unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Purchased, scraped, or rented contact lists are not allowed.

Security

Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform without written permission, bypass authentication, interfere with other tenants, or overload the API. Report vulnerabilities responsibly to [email protected].

Automation & fair use

Automated usage must respect published rate limits. We may throttle or suspend workloads that create sustained abusive load or that circumvent per‑account quotas.

Credits & payments

Do not attempt to obtain credits through fraudulent payments, stolen cards, chargeback abuse, or the exploitation of pricing or promo bugs. Bonus and promotional credits are for legitimate first‑time use.

AI & generated content

You are responsible for the outputs you generate with Carto Catral's AI features and for reviewing them before sending to customers. Do not use the platform to generate deceptive deepfakes, harassing content, or content that impersonates real individuals without consent.

Enforcement

We may warn, throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy. Severe violations — child safety, fraud, active abuse — result in immediate suspension without notice and, where required, disclosure to authorities.

Reporting abuse

See something wrong? Email [email protected] with as much detail as you can share. We triage every report and follow up when we take action.
